A water bird hunts for food beneath a waterfall
A small grey bird working the mossy rocks dived into the current in search of prey.
The footage shows a small, slate-grey dipper moving over wet, moss-covered rocks, bobbing up and down at the edge of the water that trickles between them as it looks for food.
It then drops into the shallows, plunging its head under the current to hunt for insect larvae, before disappearing into a pool beneath thin curtains of falling water.
Because dippers live on clean, fast-flowing streams, birdwatchers regard them as an indicator of good water quality.
