Paragliding at sunset: gliding over the mountains
Launching from a hillside, the pilot made a long glide through golden light above the valley.
The clip opens as the orange wing of a paraglider fills against a blue sky above a hillside launch. The pilot quickly gains height and glides out over a valley framed by snow-capped peaks.
As the sun sinks towards the ridgeline, the valley is wrapped in a golden haze and the wing becomes a small speck in the light. In the final shots the pilot descends towards the landing field on the valley floor.
Instructors stress that wind and thermal conditions must always be assessed before take-off.
